Meeting in Rostock
Main goal is a joint approach and benefit of Interconnect partners. Therefore, with consulting company "Team Red", a competent external partner was contracted, in order to analyse the interdependence between local planning (culture), innovative transport planning and transport policy under the focus of public transport (including cross-border dimension) and to develop recommendations for future improvements. Based on the prior analysis of Rostock´s planning, governance and transport policy, which results were presented by team read, the workshop was used to jointly discuss a methodology for evaluating the state of play at the other project partner sites. As a result of the workshop, all INTERCONNECT partners are now in close dialogue with team red and the Rostock team to on one hand learn from each other and on the other hand create joint high standards for attractive multimodal passenger transport in the South Baltic Sea area to be built up and implemented in the future.
